Door in the VEKAMOTION 82 lift-and-slide system allow a panoramic view of the home’s surroundings, which is important in modern architecture that focuses on integrating the interior of the house with the garden. The profiles are white as standard, but can be made on request in any other colour. Finishes resembling the texture of wood are aslo available as well as aluminum caps which come in any powder-coated color. We also offer SPECTRAL profiles.

The door can use various types of double glazing, including those with enhanced burglary resistance, profiles reinforced with steel sections, and anti-burglary hardware and locking systems. The safety of everyday use is also ensured by a flat threshold flush with the floor.

The closed profile, with an outer wall thickness of 3 mm (with a maximum deviation of only +/- 0.2 mm), meets the requirements of PN-EN 12608, which are placed on the highest quality profiles.

Profile height
The folding of the threshold with the sash in the standard version has a cross-sectional height of 152 mm, while the frame with the sash give a total dimension of 163 mm. Importantly, the maximum concealment of the threshold in the floor is sought.
The VEKAMOTION 82 lift-and-slide door system uses multi-chambered masking strips that conceal the screw connections after installation. This makes the surfaces completely smooth, even without blanking strips.

In the VEKAMOTION 82 system, VEKA profiles with a depth of 82 mm, which have been proven for years, are used. The same glazing beads are used as in classic windows, so all windows in the house will have a uniform appearance.

A two-stage sealing system is used in the sliding sash area. The system of external seals ensures that the door is airtight, even under such stresses as hurricane wind and heavy rain.
